Tonight as I sit at home with my family I feel I have so much to be thankful for. We are all together, my h is with his children and his wife. I am grieving so deeply for all the mothers, wives, husbands, children who will never see their loved ones again. My h and I will be going to court in the morning to appear on behalf of a request we made for a modification of our visitation with the oc. We see the oc only once a week for a small block of time. Our two children and the oc enjoy the time they spend together, but it is so rushed. We will have to answer some accusations from the mother of the oc, she claims we do not give him healthy meals, she refuses to allow the oc to call my h dad, the list of petty compliants is long and ridiculous compared to the horror and pain that the victims of this weeks tragedy are dealing with. Right now I do not even have the energy to list all the bull we have gone through over the last few months, I am just hopeful that the court can put a stop to it. I am not putting the pain I feel about the oc aside, I also feel pain for the lies the xow tells of my h and my family, but I feel guilty and petty to go to court and discuss these silly complaints tomorrow. We live close to the city of New York, in New Jersey, and the pain is close. I just ask you all to think of me and my h in the am. and keep good thoughts that the judge will see through the xow's lies and see what good, kind and caring parents we are. The oc is treated the same as my own two and we enjoy having him with us, we just want more time and the xow will not be happy until she get no time for us. Thank you in advance for your good thoughts and Peace to you and yours. Gabi1116
[This message has been edited by gabi1116 (edited September 13, 2001).]

Holy and Living God,
We have been commanded to pray for all things and now we hold up to you our friend Gabi, her family and the child born of this affair. Wrap them in the warmth of your love. Shelter them from the bitter winds of life; give them sanctuary in the palms of your holy hands. Feed them with the Bread of Life so that they never know hunger. We ask You to be truly present to each and everyone in this situation.
Touch the heart of the exOW; give her the desire to be a reasonable person and to act in the best interests of her own child.
Nurture and care for this young child that he may grow in knowledge of you that he may find comfort in your life and redemption in the sacrifice of the Christ, your holy and annointed son.
Be with and bless the members of the court. Touch them with your Holy Spirit and give them the wisdom and compassion to do what is right by this child.
In the holy name of Jesus, our Lord and our Redeemer
Amen.

Thank you for your kind words and encouraging and positive thoughts. I was so exhausted over the events of the last few days and the stress of the up and coming court appearance that I went to bed early yesterday. We are so happy and relieved now. All went very well in court yesterday, we could not have expected any better of an outcome. Thanks again for all the thoughts, you guys are all great. Peace, Gabi1116
