I have a hard time articulating what I think and feel, so when I read a poignant little verse or saying, I copy it and keep it in a file. I found some I had forgotten I had.
My apologies that I dont have the name of the man who writes the STORYPEOPLE, but is anyone else familiar with these little stories?
This man draws abstract people in everyday situations and writes a sentence, or paragraph to go with them and in those few words he tells a story. If you like sweet sentiment you'll like these alot. You can find them at storypeople.com
I think it would be good to have a selection on this site just for encouraging thoughts, if you needed a real uplift one day, you could tune in to see what ones had written. Or we could have a positive thought for the day...
Any way here are 2 sweet storypeople storie, and 1 funny one, for your enjoyment:
1.)"What do I get for this?" I said, & the angel gave me a catalog filled with toasters & clock radios & a basketball signed by Michael Jordan, & I said, "But, this is just stuff." And the angel smiled at me & swallowed me in her arms. I'm so glad you said that, she whispered to me. I knew you still had a chance.
2.) Everything changed the day she figured out there was exactly enough time for the important things in her life.
prepare to crack-up ;}
3.) Trying out his theory that if your hands & your head are warm the rest doesn't matter...but so far all he can think about is how much it's going to hurt if his penis freezes off!
Did you like 'em?
