Twice now I have watched the Rugrats movie with my ds (3 years old) and when the cartoon character gives birth to her baby all I can think of is OW and OC. Am I crazy to have a cartoon make me react this way? I almost cry each time I see it.
Take care,
Why

See my post under your thread "is this the calm before the storm".
this cartoon is one of your triggers. How do you get past it? Try some of the suggestions I had in your other post. Also you might remind yourself that you H was not there for the birth as Mr. Pickles was in the birth of Dill Pickles. Take some solace out of knowing her birth expience wasn't as enjoyable as a cartoon character's was! or yours for that matter.
Hope some of that helps.
Z.

Dear why,
I must apologize ahead of time bc I did giggle when I read your post. It was a mental picture, but guess what honey, I did the same thing! Cartoons, comercials, and dont let me watch a movie or listen to a country song..lol. I was an emotional basketcase, but dont be too concerned over yourself. This too shall pass...
Eventually you will get passed this stage where you cry over everything. At least everything like cartoons and commercials. I mean I am real emotional still, but it is not because of baby triggers....its just me. I can even congratulate pg friends now without even thinking of ow\oc.
It will be ok
Love and Prayers
bw
