This was a recent post by someone else and I just want to say it IS normal and yes it IS depressing sometimes.
I just wasted my time looking up some stuff about XOW on the internet (no direct contact)... that loony witch raising my H's OC, after pretending to be my and my children's friend for years. There are times when it STILL leaves me sick to my stomach being involved in this insanity. I turn it over repeatedly in prayer.
But perhaps 96% of my life is normal now, and I would hate to miss the incredible (good) days I've had in these years of recovery, experiences that I couldn't have had if I'd left H. There is nothing I will change about how we are handling the situation because I feel we've done every thing we can to do the best we can with OUR OC. Difference ways for different folks.
Anyway, to newbies fresh with pain... Your life will never be the same, but it CAN be good.
Jenny

Jenny, I'm on the other end of the stick in that my wife is pregnant by another. I'm a "newbie" still trying to work through the unbelievable tangle of emotions that are a part of this ordeal. If I choose to work toward reconciliation, I'll be raising this other man's child along with my three legitimate children, 5, 7, and 9. It seems to big to face in ways.
