When I first found out about the affair (in July) I was having so many accidents and breaking things. (For instance I was cooking dinner and a glass dish shattered in the oven while I was basting my chicken...I normally know better than to add liquid to a glass dish.)...Well, the point of this post is it's happening again. I thought I was doing pretty well dealing with things lately. H and I are getting along very well.
I was just upset tonight about the whole child support thing and how OW has made a living out of having sex (then children) with varried men. Only h's kids are with her now...others were taken away by the state.
While I was cooking dinner I sliced the palm of my hand on a lid of a can that I just opened. It's about two inches long and quite uncomfortable.
It seems that whenever I'm under emotional stress lately these "bad luck" things keep happening to me. I know it's because I'm just not focused. Does this ever happen to anyone else?
"the well bandaged" why

Absolutely...it's called distraction and stress. Be careful I got into a minor fender bender and got a speeding ticket. Never had an accident before and only one other ticket. At least for me, it was my brain or Divine intervention saying SLOW DOWN. Hopefully it will pass.

You are not alone!!! LOL!!! Let me tell you what "NOT" to do...LOL!!! The day the DNA test results came in, I threw my wedding ring at my H and stormed out of the room, muttering to myself and lo and behold, I fall!!! Not only did I fall, I, (of all things!) fractured my LEFT WEDDING RING FINGER! Just below the tip (under the first joint). Now it will be a long time before I can wear my wedding ring again. I guess the Lord was gently telling me to appreciate my ring and to not carelessly toss it at my H!
I will think twice about taking my ring off next time and I will definately be more aware of my surroundings! LOL!!! Chalk that one up to one of life's ironies.
I hope that the swelling goes down. As much as I am hurt, angry and feel betrayed, my ring means alot to me. I can't bear not being able to wear it. There is a sentimental story behind H's and my wedding bands. I had a good talk with H today and feel more secure in knowing that our rings do 'still' mean something.
So, in the midst of all this rambling, I understand where you are coming from. I am accident prone when I am under extreme stress!
Hugs, Twiisty
