A lot has been written about forgiveness and how important it is in our lives; especially in troubled relationships. I thought I'd but together a list of things real forgivesness is NOT:
Real Forgiveness........
1. is not ignoring your anger 2. is not based on their, his, or her character 3. is not based on their, his, or her remorse 4. is not saying you were wrong 5. is not fellowship 6. is not forgetting 7. is not being stupid 8. is not a simple act where the injury is profound 9. is not what you have to do 10. is acting like God
Maybe this will help some who are struggling with forgiveness. Sometimes it's just as good to know what something IS NOT as to know what it is.
Hope this helps, Pegasus
