My little guy turns 1 today. It’s hard to believe all this time has passed. When this all first went down, I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. All I could do was cry and feel sorry for myself. Now my baby is a year old, we’re all getting along, and I’m actually feeling pretty good about life.<p>OB1

Thanks for the good wishes! I missed out on his birthday yesterday. I got to spend all of 20 minutes with him in the morning and he was half asleep. I had a long day at work and then class afterwards. We usually get out early, so I was going to rush home to do the birthday cake with him. It never happened. My class ran way over. By the time I got to the sitter’s to pick him up, he was out like a light. All the jostling around didn’t rouse him one bit. He slept until 5:30 this morning. Oh well. We still have the birthday party this weekend.
