Nobody could answer this question based on no information. Have you asked your H?

The female was given the gift because she was not in the christmas spirit. He wanted to cheer her up. She was there for him previously with an open ear and not judgemental when he went thru his past divorce. I felt awkward because he did not tell me this would be occuring. I found out otherwise.

It sounds like he may just be trying to return the favor to someone who helped him through a hard time.
Has he openly shared this with you and what kind of gift was it.

A chrismassy cheerfull gift I wouldn't be too concerned about. Or was it something questionable that he tried to hide from you

The gift was bought from a jewelry store, exactly what it was I am not sure. He told me the reason for getting it as I stated BUT not until I inquired about where the gift was and why was it warranted. Because it was not shared with me at all is why I fell unsure. We have only been married five months.

Jewlery can go both ways, can be affectionate or friendly. Either way, it probably isn't the most appropriate thing for a newly wed to be giving to a friend.
Not telling you about it is wrong, but it may also just be because he is afraid of how you would interperet it.

What type a relationship does he or has he had with this OW . And are you 100% sure he gave her the gift. Is it possible that he got you something and said it was for her so he didn't ruin the surprise?

That's really messed up. My husband did admitt he bought the OW something but won't tell me what.It really hurt me that he bought her something. He did get me a night gown but told me 3 other presents he ordered online for me must have gotten lost in the mail( not likely) but that he would give me a gift card soon.Hmm I guess I shouldn't feel so bad...Especially since he's out with her right now.
