H and I don't have to go to court tomorrow. exOW screwed up the paperwork. Our lawyer called her and told her she has to serve H with the motion before the courts will do anything about it. She must have called the courthouse or something because she filed another motion of contempt against H. (before she received the call from our lawyer) He's a mover and shaker I like him a lot he made 6 phone calls on Monday pertaining our case. And he knows that my opinion matters he calls me and gives me all updates. Now that we have a lawyer things are looking up for us. I no longer feel like I don't have a voice our lawyer is willing to listen and express my opinion in court.
H and I had a great conversation last night. He said it bothered him that he was not supporting OC emotionally and mentally. I asked him if he thought it was his fault he said no his conscience was clean. He knows how wonderful and supporting I have been he said that exOW would have to live with her choices and the guilt of depriving OC of a father. I feel a lot better.
My 10-year-old son brought me a gift home that he made in school. The card read. "Dear Mom and Dad no matter what happens with our family I love you both very much. Love your Son" I got tears in my eyes because I was hurt knowing my baby still thought about us breaking up. (He went through a lot and developed emotional problems) I told him I loved him very much and I thanked him for the gift. I showed the card to my H he read it and didn't say much to me so I was thinking he doesn't get it. My sons were playing a game at the table and my H said, "S don't worry about this family I love you all very much your Mom and I are together for life. The only thing I want you worry about is schoolwork and keeping your room clean. He said let me worry about this family and making sure all of you are happy. We all had a group hug it was nice. I later told H I didn't give you any credit at all, I thought he just doesn't get it. He said I feel you and our kid's emotions I care.
I have to admit he's been extra loving and caring these last two weeks and it helped me get over the pain I was feeling last week. Thank you all for your support again this is a great forum to vent.
