I was just wondering if you took the paternity test without OW knowledge? And how you got visitation before the paternity test results? Was the OW in agreedment for H to see OC?<p>Dawn

Yes, we took the paternity test without OW's permission. We have 4x/yr visitation with Precious where we pick her up each day for 4 days and spend time at the zoo, museums, the mall and at our hotel room.<p>Since H was certain that OC was his (he remembers the broken condom night as just about the worst of his life), he preferred to do it with a home testing kit so that OW would not know. We could have forced a court date for this, but so far, H and exOW have kept this out of the courts. OC is 18 months old. They use the child support guidelines for the state in which exOW and OC live. They have a written agreement between them that what he pays is child support and not a gift.<p>There has been visitation since slightly after OC was born. Of course, before I knew of A and OC, the vistation was disguised as another business trip, just as they ran their affair for the final year of 7 years after we had moved away from where exOW lives.<p>exOW only requested that if we began visitation that we make a committment to keep it up and not establish a relationship with OC and then abandon that relationship. <p>MJ<p>[ January 15, 2002: Message edited by: MaryJanes ]</p>

Thanks for the information. I would prefer to keep it out of the courts OC is 3 months but OW has refused my H to see the OC. My H even left a message on her machine if they could get the paternity test done. She never even called him back. So unless she changes her mind my H would have to get a court order. There is a very good chance it is my H but she also told him that she slept around. <p>It only lasted a week and she told him a month before that she was not having sex with anyone when they were still friends. <p>So I do not know what to think. And since she has not talk to my H since April we do not know what is going on with her.<p>Dawn
