I thought I would tell you about an idea our therapist gave us on how to proceed with visitation of our infant OC.
As most of you know we have 2OC. I am involved with visitation with the older child, but have not yet wanted to start with the 6mo old OC. Our therapist came up with a wonderful solution that has worked for us, and I thought I would share it.
My H has been going to the daycare, (I think a national chain) twice a week for a period of about 45 minutes. It has been arranged thru the daycare by OW that he is allowed to visit. There were many questions as to what his intentions were, and if there was a threat of abduction, those type of questions. But he now has had 4 visits there and it has been a very pleasant experience for both H and OC. With OC being at the age of being aware of strangers, being in a familiar place (daycare) has made for an excellent and safe location for the two of them to "get to know" each other. He plans his visits at morning feeding time, so he gets to feed and play, and feel a little bit a part of the growing up process that he did not take place in with his other OC.
I just thought I might share this idea in hopes that it might help one of you out there that is having difficulties in trying to come up with some sort of arrangement that is agreeable to all parties.
Tina

Excellent idea. We also used the daycare for drop offs and pickups. We cannot do that any longer because she has moved out of the area, but it worked wonderfully for so long. We also didnt have to have contact with ow only oc. Good luck to those who try this.

Hello,
My sitaution is that OW actually works at the daycare. so if my H wants contacts with OC. I would feel very uncomfortable about it.
Dawn
