We got THE phone call at the end of last week. We leave to go spend 10 days in their country and finalize the adoption. We will be home by Easter. A blessed event at a blessed time of year.
Jenny, yes I did get your email. I'll respond this week. The adoption paperwork crap is still taking 20 hours a week of worktime hours. I can only get this stuff done when the notary, the secretary of state and our adoption agency is open, during the hours I need to be getting my job done. After all, I'm not on FMLA yet.
Thank you all of you for your support during this very, very trying time of my life--learning of Mr. J's affair and child and then a couple of months later losing the adoption of children we loved so dearly and then the hope of starting all over with a new agency to adopt the same boys.
MJ

Bon Voyage, Mary Janes!!! You must be walking on air and the excitment in your house must be burying the needle. I bet their rooms are ready with all kinds of wonderful clothes and accessories. I wonder how they are doing with their anticiplation of coming here? It must feel to them as if they are going on a wild and wonderful adventure with so much to look forward to. Can you just imagine their excitement?
I am so thrilled and excited for all of you, MJ. I am sending prayers of thanks and prayers that all will be a smooth transition. Congratulations to you and Mr. J for staying with this through the tough and scary times when most might have abandoned the process.
I can't think of anyone who deserves this blessing more than you do.
Really, really warm and wonderful wishes and thoughts.
Catnip =^^=

MaryJanes,
Congratulations I am so happy for you. When I read this all I could picture is those two sweethearts in the boat with you and
hubby and thinking all the great times you guys can have now. This time forever. I don't think I need to tell you but have a wonderful trip. This is just so exciting.
