I have a problem with lover and his ex. I am trying to be cool about their new found best buddy thing but he insists on discusing intimate details with her about us and I've asked him not to and he just says he enjoys discussing things we do with everyone he has nothing to hide and he enjoys sharing about all the fun we have and he is an open book and I am trying to change him by asking him not to tell her. Most women would not be cool with the best friend relationship with the ex I am O.K. with that but ask this one thing is that too much? It is not a sexual thing but private between us and I even told him I don't care if he dicusses it with his friends but not her should he respect me and WHY does he have to share EVERYTHING with his ex.? He has also told me he'd get back with her in a heartbeat if she ever asked for the kids. This woman has no friends so uses him to confide in and he sucks up to her so he can see kids more. I asked him not to tell her about this stuff once and said he wouldn't then it happenened again and he said he'd try not to tell her.Advice? Help? My friends think he's a loser and I should dump him but he almost sounds convincing that I am the one with the prob.

You are not the one with the problem!
He has no right discussing your business with his ex, or infact any other female. This type of personal crap is exactly what leads to EA's (Emotional affairs), these EA's can be just as devistating as a physical affair, and more often than not lead to one anyway.
Being on an amicable basis with his ex is one thing, discussing your personal business with her is another.
Let him know the boundries and if he continues this disrespectful garbage let him know that YOU will be with him whenever contact has to occur re the kids.
