Babstr I hope and pray all goes well. I wish courts would see this as an invasion rather than a reason to pay 18-20 yrs for an unwanted baby.
I feel so bad your intact loving family has to suffer....because the ow had the right to choose...whatever...SHE CHOSE!
love

Gemini,
Thank you so much. I am really trying not to let this take over all of my thoughts. It is hard. I have never said that we wouldn't have to pay the support, but I do truly think that $600 is plenty, just my opinion. And like I said it is hard since I am about to have a baby and now have to worry about this mess again.
The one time I spoke to OW, she did say how hard her life would be because her child did not have a father. I said, but that wasn't a surprise was it? You chose that route, right? Her reply, your right. She just assumed that my H would be involved cause he seemed like a nice guy. But the bottom line was, she didn't know him, and he didn't know her. There was nothing to discuss.
I do feel bad for the oc. But I pray she doesn't come looking for her father, I hope the ow will try to convince her what a mistake that would be. Because her hurt would be ten folds more if she had to hear that there would be no answers, no welcome, and no inclusion. That is my H's choice. He will not waver on his decisions, and that is his choice to do that, just as if it would be if he had wanted contact. Sorry went on a tangent, once again thanks.
babstr.

Babstr you didn't go on a tangent. You came here with worry and others took over the thread.
I know what you mean about ow feeling bad now that it's over.
Oc here gets my sympathy and H's check and it's all we can do.
Each and every ow has a story. Ours is sooo wealthy [one reason H strayed is she kept his account current during hard times] she doesn't need money. She did it once we were together for good out of spite, I'm sure. She DID say not to worry, she'd raise baby alone. HA!
Best wishes, and continued prayers,
Debi
