Dear Want to stay M,
Perhaps you could satify both options. You mentioned that your wife was referring to the whole W/E for your sons birthday as I understand it. Could you arrange to be available for the baptism for a few hours and spend the rest of the W/E with your wife and youngest son ? Unless everything is happening at exactly the same time , you might be able to do both. Each woman is going to have to O.K. with the fact that each of these boys is your son and it has more to do with honouring them than anything to do with the women themselves. Even if transportation is a challenge, for such special occasions , I'm sure you can work out something with friends or family ! Put on your thinking cap, get creative and you will find a solution. Good luck, WA
