We are kind of drifiting off of MB principles here. Everyone needs to vent especially in such horribly difficult circumstances but after we are done venting we need to pick up the pieces and continue on with our plan--Plan A, Plan B, Plan D, wherever we are at the moment.
So, what do you plan to do to improve your marriage over the next couple of days? Are you going to reduce angry outbursts? Meet a need that you haven't been meeting? Carve out some time alone for the two of you? Make a plan with a concrete goal and a time limit and then implement your plan.
I am going to make Mr. J a Father's Day card. It is our first Father's Day together with children of our own. I am going to tell him privately that I know he took a huge risk trusting me to not be trapping him and just getting even. I am going to tell him how I admire him for trying to piece our lives back together. (He still has a long way to go, but I am going to hold my tounge this weekend and avoid a LBer.)
I am going to begin an exercise program to further work on that "attractive spouse" thing. I will exercise three times a week for the next month and see what I think about it from there.
MJ

MJ's excerise...ugh!!!
About 4 years ago I needed to lose about 50 lbs..I tried excercise tapes and working out...what I found to work the best for me was just going for a walk.A walk not with kids in tow but a nice fast paced walk...soon 5 miles were whizzing by. This "alone" time gave me lots of time to mull my life over. And I found that that was the part of the day I looked forward to the most.Soon a friend joined in after she noticed my weight loss.
I think what i'm going to do for me...is begin walking again...the stress of a cross country move is starting to set in...besides my butts gotten flabby from being addicted to MB.

walking what a great idea. I think I will ask my husband to go with me.
I decided I would cook more, been so busy, we have done a lot of eating out and I think we are all sick of it.
Thanks MJ I needed to get back at concentrating on my marriage.
