My wife and I own our own business. However, my name has not been on the business since we opened it 2 yrs. ago. It makes me feel like I have no part in it even though i do just as much as my wife does. I often think of changing my career. If things don't work out for us in the end God forbid, and my name is not on our business does that mean that I will not get anything out of it in the end legaly? We live in Texas, so does that mean I would be entitled to half eventhough I am not listed as an owner of the business. Please help me to understand my options.
