A little off topic but this is just another negative thing to happen.... I had to put my dog to sleep today. This dog was my husbands worst nightmare! He was my protector and always stood between my husband and I when we argued. No matter what this dog still loved me and through all the crap in my marriage I looked at the dog as a friend from heaven. What so sad is that the dog, who I had for 7 years bit my child in the face( no skin was broken) but he is a large dog and has been acting strange lately as if he has been in pain. He had hip problems. So I did what I thouht was best for the dog and my children (4years and 10 months) I just feel like one of my biggest supporters is gone. I feel so sad...Anyway just needed to get it out.
Thanks!!!

Awww, I'm sad for you too...

I know how you feel. You've lost your one friend who only gave you unconditional love because he was ONLY capable of such. Take care! The grief will pass... Hang onto the good memories!

knlj,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Unconditional love is so Godly; pets are such loving companions. I lost 2 elderly pets last year, too.

I hope things take a turn for the better soon.

Hugs,
J

knjl,
I am very sorry to hear about the very difficult decision you had to make.
Through the years my dogs have brought such joy to my life, always ready to be my sounding board.
My thoughts are with you now.
Tina
