I thought someone posted that they had tested the OC using a kit that involved saliva obtained from the child and the father.
Could who ever has used this please post and let me know how to obtain it and get the testing done.

We used this. I just typed in dna home test on gogle and looked through some of them till I decided to use one.
it was quite simple and is very accurate.

We did the same thing. It was quick and the results were easily understandable. I am sorry, but I can't remember what company we used. Acutally, you are testing skin cells that you get by scraping a few Q-tips on the inside of the cheek. It is called a Buccal Smear.

We went this route because H did not want to ask exOW for the testing. As we had visitation, it seemed OK to do. Since there was never a court-ordered custody case and H is listed on the birth certificate as the father, we were legally allowed to do this. We consulted an attorney in OW's state to make sure that we were not breaking any laws.

I have a funny story about the testing. I honestly do think it is funny and I even thought it was funny at the time it happened. I called
the testing center and asked for a kit for testing
the child and the alleged father. The man on the phone asked me why I wasn't requesting a kit for myself as the testing would be even more accurate if I were included. I said "I am not the alleged mother." There was dead silence on the other end of the phone. *wicked grin*
