Mr."T" was shot at yesterday answering a call at an armed robbery...he and three other deputies were shot at and thankfully none of the cops were hurt...the robbery suspect paid for his stupidity with his life.

I never realized how much Mr."T" means to me, until I realize that he may not "be" anymore...I do love this man, even though he did a horrible thing to me...it almost pales with the thought of losing him forever...Thank God, I was prompted to pray for him an hour before the situation happened.

He said this is the hairiest thing he had to deal with in ten years of law enforcement (apart from being dragged as a rookie and having near misses with a shooting before as a rookie...) I'm sure he's a changed man with this situation as well as with what all happened these last almost two years.

Don't know why I'm writing this except to say that Mr."T" is special to me and I'm thankful he's alive to see me another day.

Hugs and prayers to y'all too,
Twiisty

Dear Twisty,

Thank God Mr. T and the other officers were not injured.

I know what you mean about something life-threatening changing your perspective. I still feel pretty ambivelent about Mr. J because he has not really been a big player in our marriage recovery. He did a good job of separating exOW from our lives and establishing a relationship with Precious that both he and I are in agreeement about, but he hasn't done much about meeting other needs of mine. HOWEVER, when he started talking about suicide I thought I might never get my heart restarted. It was a terribly gut-wrenching moment and I thought I was going to vomit at the thought of how much he was suffering and how I would feel if he did it.
