Well, it finally happened.
Lil' mama's momma flipped the script yesterday.
Here's the latest in her drama-fest:

The provision in the visitation order that SHE signed states my H and I can pick up lil m at daycare.
She has a problem with that for what has turned out to be the second in a series of stupid excuses.
Well instead of dealing w/ the drama, we asked our lawyer to handle it by way of offering a compromise (mental note here: Never compromise w/ beelzabub).
Anyway, her lawyer sent my H's lawyer claiming she didn't want him to drop her off because he 'Often returns her dirty, hungry and constipated' and is afraid he would return her to daycare the next day in the same state.
We started visits in January....you mean to tell me if you felt she was truly being neglected, you'd wait this long to complain (and it just so happens it's right around the time when visitation would occurr without her involvement).
I feel sorry for her and that child. She (and her first-year lawyer) have just put in writing that she feels her parenting skills are superior to ours, and that is an obvious sign that she intends to alienate her from her dad and I.

Well, next steps haven't been set in stone by us yet, but we're both leaning towards shared custody with some very black and white, elementary level stipulations for her to understand.

I could just scream, she gives custodial parents a bad name.

Matthew:

I am so sorry for your OC and for you and your husband, too. I hope the courts can make things work out in spite of the XOW. And I hope the powers that be can differentiate between the truth and fairy tales for all your sakes.

Until the last day I'll never understand the agenda of some of these people who proclaim to love their children and seek the best for them when instead they are creating such turmoil for them.

You could make such a differnece in this child's life...it's such a shame. You're in my prayers.

Catnip =^^=
