I will try to make it short.
My hubby and I have been married 10 years. We have an 8 year old and a 1 year old.
My hubby has been lying to me for 10 years. It started off with little things I kinda let go, and then got bigger. The biggest was def the fact that since we met he told me that he was in the special forces in the army and would tell me these elaborate stories about his adventures. Well it turns out, as I found out 5 years and one child later, it was all a big LIE !!
The worst lie I think was the one that is causing me to consider leaving him. When we met I told him that I would never want a gun in my house, and he said OK. Well one day, 4 years ago, he just showed up with one. Now the man has 4 assault rifles and 2 handguns in my house...they are locked up. He also cheated on me 2 years ago, an emotional thing..
I hate his guns. I hate that they are in my house. I hate that my children know their daddy likes to collect assault rifles. And If I had to guess, I would say the hate is mostly due to the extreme betrayal I feel from him disregarding me and bringing one home.
We are going to get counseling. But I think the only way to save our marriage is for me to just let him do his gun thing , which includes letting him involve our 8 year old. THIS WEEK, he took my 8 year old with him to buy an Uzi, BEHIND MY BACK , after we had made a deal that he wouldn't, and then he told my son to lie to me about it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />
I am so confused...

I think you have every right to feel betrayed. Your H does not seem to respect you enough to tell you the truth.
I would encourage you to seek counseling, for both you and him.
Until the lies and deceipt stop, I would suspect that not a lot of healing can take place. So I think that's where you need to focus your energy.
