It seems more and more that I am making my husband crazy. I consistently anger him, annoy him, or irritate him. I have reviewed my behavior etc. and where I can see that I do have some annoying tendencies (who doesn't) and of course there are times where I have done or said something that would make most people angry or upset - I cannot see what it is that I am doing that would cause him to be THIS consistently upset with me.
I try to talk with him about it and he is closed off.
In the middle of his anger, irritability or annoyance with me I try to talk softly and be gentle and though this usually helps the moment we are in - he can and often does become upset with me a short time later.
What can I do? Any ideas are welcome.

I would suggest you get the Patricia Evans book and read it, it will give you some tools that can help.
Of course, stopping any LB's is important. And according to Dr. H, fixing up annoying behaviors is also important.
Have there been any significant recent life changes? Or has things just been steadily getting worse?
Outside pressures like job, or finances?
