Hi everyone! I am new to post and I need some advice. I a have been divorced from my son's(10 yrs old) father for 7 years and have been dating this man ever since. He has been divorced for almost 6 years and has 4 children. We had a normal relationship and I moved in with him over a year ago. Due to the stress of my job my blood pressure shot up and I had to stop taking bc. I informed my bf that I was off the pill and I decided to get my tubes tied a month later. Well, I was only of the pill for 1 month and found out I was pregnant the day before the surgery for the tubal. My bf didn't want anymore children but never wanted to get a vasectomy. Now, he is upset with and wants to break up because I have decided to keep the child (he wanted me to have an A). I felt that this was a blessing and that this child is meant to be here and I shouldn't have to make a decision to no have this child because he wants to control me.

This pregnancy was an accident and not an intentional plot to cement the relationship nor was it an adulterous affair with injured Betrayeds with broken hearts and destroyed families. But it was a somewhat committed live-in relationship between two divorced persons.
Therefore, the accident is no accident in the eyes of God (just my opinion) and this child was meant to be.
While I can understand your Partner is not crazy about the idea of having another child when between the two of you there are five children, but you both knew the risks of having unprotected sex during that month between BC solutions. However, it sounds as though this all happened innocently without intent. Just one of those things?
If you want to keep and raise this child, you might have to resign yourself to the fact you may end up raising it alone with only minimal financial assistance from Mr. Wonderful. If he already has four children, your portion of support will be fairly small in comparison. There are things you have to consider but this child should not be aborted if it's presence is the result of carelessness and just because its presence is inconvenient.
Adoption is option to consider if raising this child will cause you and your son undue financial hardship if on your own again and the baby might be better off with a stable home where he or she is wanted.
I just hope your Partner will come out of his shock and anger over this and feel differently about the baby's presence once it is born. Good luck to you. So sorry this happened to you.
