They always say things come in threes....
He had trouble breathing...his chest got tight....he checked in the emergency room and his heart was up to 180...very high...they are keeping him overnight for observation. I can't get to him because I'm across the lake with the kids and have no one to watch them. I'm beside myself....don't know what to do...think...or anything...please pray...he called a little bit and was settled in his room. I called his Aunt who used to be a nurse at that hospital and her former boss is the "head" honcho over there...he's keeping an eye on Mr."T" to make sure he gets the tests and care he needs.....
This had better be the end to a rotten three months....I'm praying for better times ahead...please pray, PLEASE!
Thank you, Twiisty

It might not be a heart attack. It just might be nothing more than a stress induced panic attack, which mimic heart attacks. God knows the two of you have been under enormous and unbelievable stress over the past year and it might just be coming out in weird physical ways.
You know you and Mr. T and the kids are all in my prayers...
God bless and protect and comfort all of you...Lord please reach in and calm R's heart and calm the panic within T and her husband and family.
Catnip =^^=

Dear Twiisty,
My prayers are with you and your H at this time. Catnip is absolutely right -- there are many things that can go wrong with your heart, other than a heart attack -- and those things are completely curable with medication. Some of the symptoms mimic heart attacks, especially panic attacks.
Keep faith and try to keep calm. love, heavenly

This Morning, Mr."T" is having a stress test done. More and more it looks like a stressed induced panic attack like y'all said it would be. His Aunt kinda figured it was too.... I told Mr."T" that on the phone and he said he hopes that's all it is and He thanks y'all for your prayers and concerns. He said he'll post here one day to thank y'all when he gets a chance.
I have an OB appt. at 9:45 today and have to take Mini-Me and Bubba with me. Thank you all for prayers and good thoughts....
Hugs, Twiisty

Twiisty I just want to add another round of prayers for you and your H.
If it is a panic attatck I hope they give your H some anti-anxiety meds to help in the future.
Hope your appt went fine and the kids didn't cause too much of a scene...
Bless you Twiisty. love Debi

Twiisty,
I am so happy to hear that it is probably just a panic attack! I can't wait till we have our home in Flagstaff, and have our computer back! I am so behind on EVERYTHING with the boards, I can't even catch up right now! I will pray that things get better for you all soon!
Love,
Tigger

Kidlets with you at the OB/GYN??!!??!! How did THAT go?
Sheesh, yesterday I had to take my twins with me to the post office. OMGosh, the line was so long and then guess what, when I got to the front I realized I had my checkbook with me (check already filled out, ooo so organized!) but NOT my driver's license which was in my wallet in the car, DUH! (oops, NOT so organized after all)...
So praise God the lady didn't make me wait in the line again which was even longer than when we first got there... Everyone busy trying to get out their holiday mail...
So please tell me, how did you do an OB/GYN with two babes in tow! WOW! My heart is out to you!!! That couldn't have been easy, was it? Did the kids behave?
How is Mr.T holding up? Must be holiday stress and pressure. Financial can cause so much stress!! I'm praying for you! We decided to only spend cash and if there is no cash, we don't spend it this holiday. We don't even have our tree yet... Do you think you guys are going to be able to get a tree this year? [ December 13, 2002, 07:01 AM: Message edited by: BINthereDUNthat ]

Hee hee.....not as well as I hoped but not as bad as I feared. The kids got into EVERYTHING!
So please tell me, how did you do an OB/GYN with two babes in tow! WOW! My heart is out to you!!! That couldn't have been easy, was it? Did the kids behave?
It wasn't easy, but we survived. Mini-me helped herself to some of the long q-tips that the OB uses to swab cultures and put them back into the sterile box, thereby rendering them unsterile and had to toss the whole box!!!! But My OB is a great lady and she's understanding of our situation and knows all about us. She is very supportive and understanding. She was also concerned about my black eye, but I talked to her honestly and it was ok.
How is Mr.T holding up? Must be holiday stress and pressure. Financial can cause so much stress!! Yep...financial and severe guilt that he is the one responsible for causing such a thing to our family. He kicks himself in the butt daily. In some way, I guess that is punishment for him. It's sad though to see someone bring on that kind of misery for himself and for others. I hold both Mr."T" and the ex-ow 100% responsible for their actions. I'm praying for you! We decided to only spend cash and if there is no cash, we don't spend it this holiday.
Thank you!!!! Prayers are the best thing we can ever receive at times. God moves in ways that are mighty and prayer is the vehicle that ushers Him right in.
We don't have credit cards anymore. We lost most of them when they reviewed us due to late payments etc. The rest are cancelled and we are working with Consumer Credit Counseling. This hit Mr."T" pretty hard. No card for emergencies etc. I don't care. I prefer to pay cash anyway.
Plus I took advantage of Christmas sales last year and the dollar stores and been saving gifts that I found on clearance all throughout the year. I started doing that almost two years ago and it saved us alot of money.
We don't even have our tree yet... Do you think you guys are going to be able to get a tree this year?
Nope...don't need to get one. One of the things that I was blessed with in my divorce was my fake tree that Wild Bill and I bought for our first Christmas together. It cost $125 back in 1991!!! But it was well worth it back then and now, it's still standing...although missing some of the hinges (Nothing that electrical tape and a hammer can't handle! !!) and it looks real. Of course, we don't have the smell, but we use pine scented candles for that and bring in some of the fresh boughs that fall from other Christmas trees.
Wild Bill never saw the use of growing a tree and then killing it for just one month out of a year. (He's a Park Ranger now...go figure!) and I've not had a real tree in ages. Mr."T" likes the fake tree so much better...less clean up and hassle so I've converted him to a fake tree. It's one of the few things that survived my first marriage as well as all the ornaments. I'm thankful. My ex-MIL took Wild Bill's ornaments home with her three years ago to give back to him. She hates me now...oh well...her loss...
But we seem to be set...I'm cross stitching some quick ornaments too out of the stash that I've collected over the years and just now started picking up my favorite past time again....it makes me feel normal, if that makes sense! LOL!
Thanks for asking about us BTDT, and I hope you and your beautiful family have a blessed and joy filled Christmas and happy, healthy, New Year.
For us, Christmas is about Jesus. We always set up the creche first.
Hugs, Twiisty
