Yes... Overwhelmed!
This will be the first Christmas that we will host my parents in our home... out of 10 Christmases together!! I found out yesterday that my Mom and the kids, my niece and nephew, will be here on the 22nd... and my Dad will be here on the 23rd... My sister has to work... so she is the only member of the family that is going to be missing this year...
I have so much to do and so little time... and here I am on the board, typing up this little vent/whine session...
And to add to my frustated state of mind... H has begun to hound me about Renewing our Vows in November on our 10th anniversary... I am so glad that he wants to do this... but right now, I am not in the state of mind to begin actively planning this shin-dig!
I finally talked to my Mom about it... and she brought up things that I had not even thought about yet... *sigh* 11 months... Do I have enough time???
I think we have decided to stay here in TN to renew our vows... concidering all our friends are here... and my family are the only ones not here... Didn't really want to alienate anyone because of travel...
UGH!!! I just have so much on my mind!!! And going through the storage building looking for Christmas Decorations didn't help matters! I ran across things from the time of the A and had a minor setback... I am ok now though... I guess I hadn't expected to have to keep my guard up ALL the time...
Thanks for listening to my rant... I am off to clean another corner of the house!!!

I have so much to do and so little time...
=^^= Get a brown paper bag and breathe deeply into it for five minutes, then make a list of all the things you have to do...everything. When the list is done, you will experience some relief. Read the list and put each task in their order of importance. Cross of stuff that doesn't matter. It will be OK....stay calm and keep it all simple.

=^^= Posters Anonymous (?)
And to add to my frustated state of mind... H has begun to hound me about Renewing our Vows on our 10th anniversary
=^^= Wow...hounding you. You are one lucky girl, Stacia. Don't get frustrated though. Take a half an hour and sit down and make another list with "open" plans for the Renewal...and keep that simple, too. Your Husband will appreciate that you are eager to do this and that it is important and special to you, too....
I am not in the state of mind to begin actively planning this shin-dig!
=^^= Then, don't. Just make a small list of things you think of that might work for you
I finally talked to my Mom about it... and she brought up things that I had not even thought about yet... *sigh* 11 months... Do I have enough time???
=^^= Does it have to be a really big deal or is this something that would be more meaningful if it were more pared down? Tip: Don't talk to Mom..."
I ran across things from the time of the A and had a minor setback... I am ok now though
=^^= I'm sorry. I hate those weird trigger moments. They always, always ambush you when you're feeling really good or least expect it. The good news is the triggers fade a lot over time.
Good luck with your party planning. It's going to be a wonderful Christmas for you and your fmaily this year. Merry Christmas, Stacia.
Love
Catnip =^^=
