ATTITUDE
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude to me is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company, a church, a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past---We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on that one string we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

That was part of a new series we are doing in church called, "The Making of a Leader"...it's interesting and this was one of the quotes that was in the workbook.
It made me think...some things I cannot change...but I am always in control of my attitude....I think God is trying to tell me something here...
On Joyce Meyer's program today, "Life in the Word" she started a new series and one of the things that struck me today was "Do you want to get well?"...getting well (or in my case healing from this situation that my H got me into) comes with the realization that with healing comes some pain, but if I keep picking at the scab, I will have a painful scar instead of letting God do the healing so the scar is faded and not "tender"....
It has been an interesting day to reflect and think...I'm ready to heal and move on...some days are easier than others but it gets easier day after day after day....there's hope out there newbies...it's just not always the way we expect it...
Hugs and prayers to y'all.....
