Hi All,
I just received my grades for the first semester of law school after several weeks of sweating it out. I am very pleased to announce that I have landed in the top ten percent of my class - AND I had the honor's paper in my Civil Procedure!!! Out of roughly 90 students, I wrote the paper that got the one A+ that the professor gave. Feeling very proud of myself!!!
I am sort of slammed with work at the moment, but I hope to get time this weekend to post on some of the child support/court topics.
Well, must go attempt to deflate my head now.

cd do not deflate that pretty head! You are truly a reason God may have brought that pain into you and your children's lives two years ago. You will go on to help others in their time of need. I remember you and cs/visitation hearings. So damn gallant! You were a reason I tried w/H at first, you were miles ahead of us. You are a lot of the reason we stopped. Did you doubt it at all that you would acheive the top ten spot??? I know I didn't. I KNEW you would not only prevail but EXCEL!
This is the frosting on the cake of life...dreaming of your heart's desire, making a plan, having the courage to implement the plan, working diligently for the ultimate outcome and then the reward of stature in the Top Ten.
Proud? Those of us that know you are so proud of you and what you have done, how you have persevered and turned everything around and moved forward like you were shot out of a cannon. When I think about what has happened to you, the enormous heartache you've endured, the barriers/obstacles you have overcome and the incredible spirit you have to change your life despite the fear, I am in total awe of your ability to rise above it all and acheive the dream.
So many times people will either repeat history or get sucked into the defeat of heartache unable to find the energy, strength and courage to make drastic changes or move ahead. Lady, you have accomplished something few have been able to do and I am so incredibly happy for you and so very proud of you.
Crawled out of lurking mode to tell you I love ya, Kid...and congratulaitons on a job well done. You da Queen....I bow to your immense spirit. This is a big deal, cd...
