Quick update...
Kids are doing well. Adjusting better and better. Still nothing from ow!!! Hubby and I have days of trying and days of arguing. I believe that he is trying to close some female "friend" relationships that he has. He knows that it is too close to the fire for him, and I think he is making the effort to end that. I hope. As a couple we are doing some better. We are talking more honestly sometimes; other times we fall back into ignoring the problem. We got the call Friday night that his unit is being activated. So far we have not been given any details about their destination. We know that they are leaving on Thursday morning. And I was really surprised/ shocked at the news. We knew that it might happen, but still. My legs got weak, and I tripped on the steps and broke my leg. Oh my gracious, now I have to deal with hubby gone, two toddlers, and crutches. Amazing. God hasn't shared with me yet what His plan is for this one, but I keep believing!

Keep us in your prayers. My two brothers and my husband have been activated now. It's just hard to believe that this is happening. For hubby I am praying that he will find a man with integrity to befriend. For all the men serving our country I am praying for safety.

Aimee2,

I will definately be praying for you and your family! Especially in the next few weeks as your leg heals! As a fellow military wife, I know the added fears of having your H be in such potential danger!

Love, Prayers, and Hugs to you and your's!

Love,

Tigger

aimee2, I am praying for your situation and for your H that he would be surrounded by God's presence and by godly influences during this time. I pray that your leg would heal quickly and that the kids would be cooperative and helpful while you recover. God's mercy is new every morning!

I remember when my oldest (OC) was small, I broke my foot and he was the kind of kid who would run away. Some kids stick close to mom, some kids are independent and want to go do their own thing. Thank goodness my twins stick close...

But I can remember trying to catch up to my oldest hobbling along with my broken foot and I was kind of GLAD I didn't have him in my grip at that moment because I was so mad I knew I would have choked him to death! (JOKING) It was simply time to teach him how important it was for him to listen and respond to my voice. He was always so quick to run away that I would anticipate it and just go after him and bring him back. When I broke my foot, I couldn't catch him quick enough anymore... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

I'm pretty sure he was 2 or younger at that time--still a baby... (((HUGS))) & best wishes. You'll get through this.

aimee,
My heart goes out to you--what a difficult time!

May God be with you, and with your H. I second your prayer that he find a male friend with integrity!

Hang in there!
J (military wife; H deployed)
