Well, we just got back from our D's science fair and she placed 2nd in her grade group! I am so proud of her! We went all out for this project, traveling over 700 miles to get her data! Next is to the City Science Fair, I think at the end of next week!
Just had to share and brag!!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Love.

And I just couldn't let your happy moment sit there unanswered. Congrats to you and Sailorman and all the Tigger-Man family. It speaks to what a good job the two of you are doing in raising your children. Success at school in the face of deployments and moves. You must work very hard to provide continuity and stability for your little brood.
BTW, I thought you were homeschooling?

MJ,
Well, I homeschooled during our transition from HI to here. We stayed 3 months in our hometown, while Sailorman was in FL for 5 weeks for school. I didn't want the kids to be in 3 different schools in less than 5 months, so homeschooled during that time. They are both now back in the public school system. Thank you so much for your congrats. The next judging is this Friday, and we can make improvements on the original project, so we will be working to make it better(with all the data from the original experiment.)!
K,
Thank you for the congrats! She tested the theory of how altitude affects the time and temp of boiling water. We drove from here to Sailorman's brother's home, 2 hrs away. Did the experiment there, then the next morning, drove another 2 hours to my parents home. Did the experiment there, and the next day, were supposed to stop at Sailorman's oldest brother's home, but schedules got messed up, and didn't make it there. So, I had my sister, who lives in a similar altitude as my BIL, do the experiment at her home. And finally, drove 4 hours from my parents home back here to complete the project! It was a FULL weekend, and I'm happy with the results!
Again, thank you both!
Love,
Tigger
