It made me mad and it also hurt very deeply, I have spent so much time worrying about him and his family and he didn't even care if I was okay. I'm still not sure about if I will pursue financial help but what he did definately stopped me from feeling guilty about keeping the baby. My mom said consider him a sperm donor and move on!

I agree, mom's got the right idea here!
You may not see it now, but this is a tremendous opportunity for you! Hook up with some other single moms, surround yourself with people who love and support you and get ready for the thrill ride of your life!!!!
That's what I did when I was pregnant with my son and it was an AMAZING experience. As a matter of fact I had married friends who were jealous of me. I had a neverending supply of foot and back rubbers, 3 baby showers, 2 labor coaches, just everything I could have ever wished for.
PLUS I didn't have to deal with the BS of the child's father. He has to live with himself. I get to live with the awesome kid! What a blessing!
