I only have a minute cause i need to get back to the hospital, but i wanted you to know and pops needs all the prayers he can get. sunday morning he had a massive heart attack, he was definiately knocking on heavens doors, the doctors say that the blockage to his arterary was right next to the left heart valve, if it was a 1/4 of an inch more he would not have survived. i will post again tonight

I am going against my lenten promise not to come to MB and post.
Please tell pops that my prayers and my h's prayers are with him at this time.

He is a terrific male human.
He has come so far to let a heart attack come between you two now!
Perhaps the stress involved has wreaked havoc with his heart....but I speak to you now, full house...I want you to know he is a most compassionate and loving man. You and he are very lucky to have one another. I pray you'll have your best friend for many years to come.
You BOTH deserve it.

We never know what we are allowed on earth as far as time. Use it to the best of your ability.

Oh my goodness! Are you okay? Thank God for the 1/4-inch, what a miracle. Your family are in my prayers as always. Evidently, pops' assignment on this earth is not finished yet. just wanted to say THANK YOU to you all for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. i can only tell you that i am so genuinely overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness and compassion that has been extended to our family and myself. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> well what a way to end a super southern ca weekend. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> it never occurred to me how serious this event was <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" /> until afterwards when i was in the icu. everyone, fh, nurses,ultra sound techs, and the dr had to tell me several times and then i had to start hemroging <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> when they tried to stand me up to realize exactly how vulnerable i am. we all are. they are giving me a short period of 4-6 weeks to recover from this proceedure then i have to return to have 2 other partial blockages repaired. if this can help anyone else out there that is dealing with our particular marital nightmare. make up your mind whether you can love your spouse again or not but DON'T hang on to your anger for years as i did. There are much more important things in life, including LIFE itself. any how from all of us here i would like to again extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our kind, compassionate and lion hearted friends out there. I am so glad to hear that you are doing better! I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers for your recovery and additional procedure for the two blockages! Take it easy, and enjoy your children/grandchildren!
