Hello Dear Friends...
I thought it about time to update on the latest in the Lee household..
As many of you know, I am 21 wks pregnant with our first child... but not my first pregnancy. I have had many miscarriages.. so the fact that this one is progressing so well is a miracle to us every day!
We still have Lil Bit quite a lot. Some days it seems the exOW takes advantage of our joy of having Lil Bit with us... Last month she called every other weekend with an excuse as to why she couldn't pick Lil Bit up and would leave her with us for her "scheduled time." This month, she gave up more time on Mother's day... so she could take her own mother to dinner.. I am sorry, but I can't understand not wanting to take your child with you to celebrate Mother's Day with you and your mother... Maybe I am just strange... But I am not complaining, I get to spend more time with Lil Bit.. and that makes me happy!
As for our new addition... Things are going very well.. Growing right on target.. and the Dr says all is PERFECT!!
We had the Big ultrasound done and took a video tape and got a lasting memory of the occasion! Being the computer nerd I am, I set our webcam in front of the TV and took a video of the video so that I could email it out to those that wanted to see it.. It worked and many of our family and friends have seen our little Miracle...
We also know now that our baby is a boy. Mr. Lee is very proud.. and I am so happy that our baby is healthy and growing... I was a tad disappointed at first (no pigtails and ruffles.. LOL) but I have since become very excited..
We have decided to give him part of his Nana's name, Mr. Lee's mother's middle name, and a name I have always loved... His name will be Marcus Allen.. and his Daddy and Papa, my dad, have already decided his nickname will be Mac.
As far as exOW knowing... she has finally figured it out. She actually got up enough nerve to ask me on Mother's Day, "So, when is IT due?" (yes, putting emphasis on IT). I calmly replied, "HE will be here in Sept." (how I wanted to stick out my tongue.. but didn't )
Things between Mr Lee and myself are going well... Still fussing about epidurals and pain relieving methods... but all in all, things are good.
Thank you all for being such great friends and confidantes.. I don't know what I would have done without you to talk to and learn from.
God Bless each of you! [ May 15, 2003, 10:46 AM: Message edited by: Stacia_Lee ]

I'm so happy that things are going so well for you and Mr. Lee! Keep taking care of Mac and yourself during this time! Halfway there, less than halfway to go!!!
Love,

No, Marcus is the name of the first little boy that I had in Sunday school... and Allen was H's mother's middle name...
My Dad didn't like the idea of Marcus Allen when I told him... but I explained it to him and he was satisfied...

Hey Stacia,
Other than the goofy behavior of x-ow, things seem to be going great for you and your husband, and that's what counts!! As far as having a little boy, it seems everyone is having boys, at least around these parts!! Of all the people I'm some what connected to, only 1 girl has been born in the past year. With my age though, I don't have too many peers having babies! I like the name you have chosen. If fits my criteria..lol...I like a name that isn't super duper popular, but isn't so original that it's "off the wall", and also that it isn't so easily mispelled by others.
It's so neat you and your husband are discussing the birth, and all that.
Again, great to hear your happy news, and I will be praying that everything continues to go so smoothly!

Staci,
Continued blessings during your pregnancy. May God hold you safe in the hollow of his hands and bless you, Mr. S. and Mac. (I love that name.)

You are doing so well! Take it easy, keep a good attitude and get your rest so you can carry your little son to term! May God continue to bless you!
