I have been reading that everyone is disappointed with the new advice and want the Board to be as it was. Can we read some of those old posts from years back??? If so, how do we get to them.

dscheller,
On the first page of the board there is a drop down list. It will give you options of veiwing Posts going way back. Choose Show ALL topics.

Once you have done this, you can easily go back to the early posts of many members.

It is definitely encouraging to go back and read what others have been through, when you KNOW they are well into recovery NOW, and thriving.

I, myself, came to this board on the heels of a major shakeup of this board caused by a long drawn out attack from an OW who was destructive. From what I have heard, she was banned from the site.

I, too, posted asking the "oldies" not leave us "newbies." Many of them are still here... though they lurk... awaiting to see that the latest newbie is sincere and not a "wolf-in-sheep's clothing" so to speak.

I hope this helps you.

Hugs,

Aut,
There have been some that have come to this board and have not been upfront as to their intentions.

There are some that have come here only to try to learn how best to hurt the BS and the WS further.

Sometimes, the "oldies" (those who have been around a while) are still checking in... and some of them wait to see if the "newbie" (the new person asking for advice) is really here looking for help.. and not just to poison...

I know I don't make it here as often as I used to... and I am not able to post all the time...
But I do try to help someone just beginning this painful journey, IF I feel I have something to say that may be helpful to their situation.

Hope that makes sense...

Hugs!!!
