marie,

I believe I do understand (if you're referring to fertility issues). This is actually an international adoption we're doing ... a baby from China (one-child-per-family-rule, daughters often unwanted). Although I was relatively young when we began this process (had just barely turned 33), we decided, for various reasons, to skip fertility treatments and go straight to adoption. Now, later this year when I turn 35, it will be very soon after celebrating the child's first birthday (as in, she'll be turning one year old). Ironically, the timing is working out almost as if I'd become pregnant when we were first applying.
Texasgirl,
I assume you're asking if I'm "chud"? Yes. Actually, I'm "chud" on two other boards. If you check, for example, my post (July 7, here) in cdcollins's first thread, you'll find that I did indeed remember to sign with both names there. I do try to remember to use both names, have tried to remember to do so in the past as well, but things have been very frazzled in real-life at the moment, and my head is not, I'm afraid, catching everything at the moment. But, as I said, if you check my post in cdcollins's first thread, you'll see that I did indeed remember in that one for example. As I have explained here before, the reason I have the username "friendofk" is because some time back I was going to post a question (in another sub-forum) for a friend of mine. Her name happens to begin with a "K". (I remember explaining that part too, back when someone asked me if the "K" referred to the regular "K".)
This is the clearest signature line I can offer:
friendofk (but K refers to a personal friend ... I was never referencing the "K" here as was misinterpreted at one point), chudP, chud, never had affair of any type, was born as OC, parents ended up together, am a W, am finishing up adoption process (and at the frazzled point at the moment).
(Oh yeah, and if you read this twiisty, I replied <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> )
