Hi JL~

I want to add a post to the JoshMom thread, as it has gotten very interesting since you gave us all something to chew on! I will catch up with that thread later, as I've already hung out too long on the comp. today, (baby taking nice long nap!) Here it looked like it might be another thread going down that slippery slope, then you came along!!

Just wanted to touch base with you for 2 reasons.

1. Your post to me on the thread @ Recov. was the last one I read before labor. I had a few minutes to read it before I left the house that day. I ended up going into labor, and had to head straight to the hospital, that is why I never got back to you. I was scared to read it, because I thought I may get a scolding, but was surprised to read your words. It helped me a lot, especially your insight re. my H possibly not wanting details of x-om so he couldn't connect baby w/ him. Also, the fact most men do their real bonding w/ a baby after the birth. I'm sure I'm getting your points a little off, since I didn't go back and reread your post, but I recalled the jist of it, and wanted to thank you!! As marvelous as my H was before, he is most definitely bonding w/ baby more now than while inutero!!

2. Come to the Private board, silly !! The only qualification I believe you don't meet is being a BS or ws affected by an OC, or by infidelity at all. That's a good thing!! Plus...you are wiser than a ton of us put together, we need you, coach!! If you choose not to join us, we will continue talking behind your back! ...j/k.

Take good care,
~aut

Talking behind my back???

Now a threat like that cannot be ignored.

I will see if they will accept me, I know I don't really qualify.

I am glad that what I said helped you. Did I miss the post about the vitals???? If so, tell me where they are.

AD, if there is anything that tells you men operate in the physical world bonding with babies is one of them. Actually women do to, but they don't admit it.

But, watch your H as the baby becomes congnizant of the world, the bonding will continue to increase. And when the baby can throw things, and becomes mobile, NOW your talkin, this is something I can understand.

I am glad the birth went well, and I am especially glad that your H is enjoying HIS new child.

God Bless,

JL

Hi JL~

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

I didn't list any vitals, but made the announcement on the Priv.

Take good care,
