Has anyone out there been in this situtation or know of someone. To sum it all up My H got papers to go to court for child support, baby was born in January, We went last week to find out an Acknowledgement of paterenity had been signed, he asked to see a copy because we didn't have that in our papers.H stated that was not his signature and his date of birth was wrong and the hearing officer put in his request for DNA. This is an out of state case OW and OC in PA. So it's not the point as to whether or not child is my H but if she could have someone sign his name to that what about for other things!! Image that getting someone to sign his name. Credit cards, anything she needs a name too. I feel He should do something now!!!! But where do we start? Call the court house? get a lawyer (can't really afford one at this time), press charges? So please any info to help me out. The last thing I want her to think is she got away with it because she was the OW!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is fraud. You can call your District Attoneys Office and they can assist you.
You can also call the local DA in her area and they too will assist you. Forgery is a crime and the DA is there to prosecute. Also, it is best that you do just that. Start now to protect yourself later.

Follow Lynng's advice and if you can't afford an attorney go to legal aid, you can look it up in the phone book. Also, start researching it yourself, on the internet is the quickest way.

They will send them in the mail. Some will fax also. If you pay for the fed-x they will send it that way also.

Jill, There was some one here that this happen to. I forgot who, but DNA proved to her husbands so they did not prusue any legal actions.
Well, I would contact the DA and go from there.
Also, in my state if someone is on any kind of public assitance like food stamps, medical, or cash from the state. They will open a CS case.
Maybe OC is not your H. Will be praying for you guys.
