We jointly filed divorce 12/4/03. Final hearing scheduled 12/30. NOW hubby is changing mind, wants reconciliation. KNOWING I do not want to restore, as I have tried TO NO AVAIL for 4 months since D-day!!! He has sole custody of OC as OP was drug positive and OC taken into state custody. Separated since 10/25. D-day 7/20, OC born 10/2. 2nd adulterous act, first OC. WH wants to make me wait instead of going through with what God has lead me to do for both of us. Both multiple married, children from previous marriage, and none together. I have been trying with ALL I have, and with the strength of the Lord to maintain and said I thought I could do it with him and raise the baby. Reality hit when he was born. I cannot do it. WH not willing to give up child, as recommended by pastor. I want out. I am biblically sound in wanting so. Want prayer that he will concede and show up for final hearing and release me.

Dear Believe,
Prayers to you. I hope you didn't do this too soon, but I will pray for you...

My prayers are with you both. I can understand him not wanting to give up a child that is his. I can also undrestand that you need to move on. If its really not what you want. But you have to think, why did you both get married in the first place? I hope that everything works out for you. You are in my thoughts!!!!

I am praying your husband will let this divorce go through without any more unnecessary angst. You have already endured enough.

I too hope you are not rushing into this divorce and that someday you might regret your decision... yet on the other hand, you are free to move on...he freed you when he betrayed you.

Believe me when I say sometimes I wish I would have had the courage to move on five years ago and avoided all the trauma of restoration...but then I would have missed out on all the wonderment of my marriage attaining this astonishing and rewarding level of recovery.

Good luck and God bless...and congratulations on your new life.

I will hold you in my prayers. How terribly sad for all.
