How many here are WS trying to rebuild the marriage?
I am one. I had a long term affair,6yrs, off and on. Just trying to remember who is the BS or the WS. And in some cases both the BS & WS like me

I'm a WS trying to rebuild my marriage. My youngest son is from my affair.
I'm also a BS as my husband had an affair in our marriage, although there were never any resulting children.

I was a BS first...but no OC came from that. We were seperated living in the same house-but not sleeping in the same room. He kept telling me to date and find someone to make me happy. So it was in the open that I was dating. When I got pregnant with the twins and was going through that crisis is when H stepped up and wanted to try again. So we are working at rebuilding our marriage. Doing pretty good. But there are those unresolved issues which were causing the break down of our marriage from before. So we continue to battle that. I sure am hoping that we can afford to go to a marriage builders weekend sometime soon. But with 5 kids it seems like we will never make it to one! So to put it in a nut shell. I was a BS first and then a WS. But now a FWS! Until that recent thread I called myself an XOW  But now I learned the correct label for myself. See I am continually learning from here!

My H has had many affairs. One of his affairs resulted with a OC. I broke and ended up having one with a co-worker. It lasted almost 6 yrs and had 2 children with Xom.
We still have problems in our marriage, main one is H not wanting to take responsibility for his actions. Can't forget about his drinking also. I'm trying to stay strong and work through these rough times. This June we will celebrate our 13th anniversary.
