When you come here you are in such pain and you wonder if it will ever end. You wonder if your life will ever have happiness again. All you see are the broken remnants of betrayed trust. Well, I hope you don't mind GEM, but we have made it. In Jan, my marriage started its 31st year. GEMINI also has entered the 31st year of her marriage. With hope, perverance and WORK we have gone past our spouses affairs, OC and all that comes with it. Our marriages have survived and are good. Just wanted to share to those of you who are new. Wanted to show, it can be done. Don't give up and stand up for what you want, your marriage, a good marriage.

It is very encouraging & inspiring to hear of marriages that have weathered the storm!
It gives me hope.

Anyone else, who I missed? Please we need to acknowledge making these milestones in our marriages in spite of the "bumps in the road" we have encountered. However, I know that no one would really call an Affair and dealing with an OC as a bump. They are major earthquakes, but we have survived.

TexasGirl,
I so very much needed to see this today. I am new to this and the pain is overwhelming. I'm hoping we can work through it and become stronger but I have so many many doubts. Some days I think it is totally hopeless.
Congratulations to you and thanks for sharing.

Not admittable into the "30's Club", but we are halfway there! We celebrate our 15th anniversary next Thursday! We are also almost 4 yrs post D-day! It can be done, so please, if there is even a smidgeon of hope that your M will survive, DON'T GIVE UP!!!!

The principles of MB has been most beneficial to me. Hope it helps you too.
