This is so sad. Here there will be inocent ones suffering the consequences of really poor judgement. It may be true that H is abusive, but was the thinking that having an affair would help matters? Finding all sort of faults in a spouse is the classical way of justifying the affair. "If he/she does not meet my needs or does this or that, then it is OK for me to fool around"- what kind of logic is that. The affair is bad enough, but to have a child born out of such circumstances, wow, how sad!! That poor child is going to be constant reminder to the other children that he is the product of mom's affair with someone else's husband. It will be the reminder of wife being touched and x,y and z by another man, and will be the reminder of how you were used by an unscrupulous man who just wanted to have fun at your expense. The hope is you are not pg and there is a chance you may save your M. Acting dishonorably does not help anyone.
