Hi everyone,
I'm new to all of this, so please forgive me if I'm not using the proper protocol... I am 27 years old, and this month I will be celebrating 1 year of marriage with my husband. I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with our 2nd child. 3 months ago my husband began acting strange; lack of affection toward me, staying out later after work, etc. I confronted him and eventually found out that he was having an affair with a 21 year old co-worker. He refused talking in any detail about how he was feeling, he refused seeking marriage counseling. He told me that he loved me, but wasn't "in love" with me anymore and that he had been feeling that way for quite a while (I had no idea!) His lack of effort to work on our marriage forced me to move back home with my parents, 6 hours away. He doesn't call me very often, maybe just once or twice a week to see how I'm doing and to talk with our 2 year old daughter. He has recently told me that he loves me, misses me and our daughter and has been thinking a lot lately about the upcoming birth of our son. I think his "girlfriend" has recently moved out of the state. I don't know what to do, how to feel. I know that I can't be the only one who initiates contact (as I have often done). I am completely devestated by my husband's affair. How can anyone walk away from their pregnant wife and daughter? I am an attractive, intelligent, compassionate woman who thought she married a perfect man. What's going on with people?!

So sorry you are here. Have you filed for D? Are you getting your CS ? Did H , get OW pg ? I can't beleive some men. I think more and more people are turning to the "in crowd" of doing things instead of being honest and true. Thats all that is on TV. Look at Sin in the City, boy the Devil got a good one there!! Never watched it, just by the title don't want to. Look at the soaps, excuse me who wakes up looking like that. M is not easy, M are not perfect, and alot just say "I don't love you anymore" just a cop out if you ask me. If we look at Revelations we should just expect all of this crap. But I'm here to make a difference and to be different! Now do you want to be M ? Do you think you can forgive? Oh, and if you don't have a other child coming you may want to move post to Just found out. There are more people there, but we are sorry for your pain and here for you.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through but this is exactly the same scenario that happened with my first pregnancy with my husband and I was just as baffled and devastated as you! At a time when I needed my H the most and felt the closest to him(we had suffered two miscarriages the previous year and I was so excited for us), he all of a sudden loved me but wasn't " in love" with me-I had driven him away because I did not care about him, etc. etc.. Turns out he was seeing a girl with 3 children that worked at a strip club he visited once. Classy, huh. I felt the same as you and could not believe that this was the same man I married. We stayed together and things got better between us so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Unfortunately, I just had a baby 3 weeks ago(our 2nd which he finally convinced me to have!) and simultaneously found out the week previous that he hired an escort service on a business trip. Again, I am so amazed that he could do this to me again!!!!
