Niosgirl, you brought tears to my eyes. You guys will make it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> It sounds like you are a terrific wife, mother and person. When I grow up, I want to be just like you. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> After reading your post, I think I realized one of the things that has me so sad. I have yet to meet my step-daughter. I want to meet her, I want to bond with her. My H says in time, a little more time but every day that goes by makes it harder and harder for me and I think is causing some of this confusion/resentment to build up. OK-Off to happy thoughts. KrisM - your comment about your "little man," which is what I call my son reminded me of more good thoughts from this weekend. While watching fireworks, my little man rubbed my back, arms, and legs saying "mommy, I am giving you a massage. It was so sweet. I told him if he stays that way he will make one heck of a husband. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> I love seeing those little white bums running around the house too. It's so darn cute when they are so tan. Good thought from last night- H gave me a card. Good thought for today?????????? It's Thursday, only one more agonizing day of work. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Made me cry every damn time. Happy tears....

Okay, Happy thought for today: I am alive and feeling fine. My son told me "you be alright mommy" as I dropped him off at daycare this morning. My Daughter did not even cry when I took her to her classroom - That is a plus 'cause the girl has some LUNGS!! I miss my H and called to tell him I LOVED Him this morning when I got to work. I am glad I can wake up and talk to ALL OF YOU!! YOU ALL HAVE BEEN MY LIFE LINES!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> GOD BLESS, JT -OH! Kimmy you made me cry also, but then again you always do ( happy tears )!!

We joined the 'Married Couples Fellowship' @ church last night & 1 couple from our other group came too! So great to see @ least 1 familiar face. Went to the drive-in the other night to surprise the ktbunch w/ seeing Spider Man 2, of course! (really good movie BTW) I LOVE THE DRIVE-IN! Which reminded me of the last time H & I went to the drive-in w/o the ktbunch! My happy for the day, (actually happened last week)...AB began saying "dadada". I know it's not a "deep" thing, but to me, it's like one more confirmation that H is AB's daddy. Like the deal is sealed, something like that? Plus when AB calls dadada from his crib, whilst crying cuz he doesn't want to go to sleep, I can say, "Dear, he's calling for you, not me..." <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

NIO'SGIRL!!SHHHHHHHH! what is someone ahsn't seen it yet! LOL AD-that's sooo cute! I love when that ahppens becuase I do the same thing. It's such a relief & makes daddy feel so much more needed! *********** *********** H tells me the other day how different things are for him since our dd was born. How he looks @ women differently now.......not JUST a 'woman' or even an attractive woman that he can set up w/ a friend but.....someone else's DAUGHTER! I was a bit offended because I thought well, Why didn't you gain respect for women when you married me! LOL Then I spoke to a friend who's H told her the same thing & we laughed becuase she had the same reaction! I thought it was sweet anyway. ************** ************** Also..another happy thought...PLAYDO! Or the SMELL of it @ least. We have hard wood floors so none of the dried-up-stuck-in-the-carpet-stuff! But my kids do think it's disposable! LOL I've taken to just playing w/ it in my hands, squeezing and stuff....it really does help you relax! But it only lasts unitl one of the ktbunch sees me then they take it away for their own use (or lose!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Everyone should have their own secret stash of playdo to squeeze & mush or else just to smell upon occasion------instant stress reliever!

Speaking of how cathardic it is tho, have you ever played with Floam? OMGosh! It's like the best stuff. I used to keep a tub of it on my desk. I also love Silly Putty - taught my 4 year old how to make the funnies on it, too....I LOVE the smell of silly putty. I love that it's neither liquid or solid, that it's actually a viscous fluid which, scientifically means it's in it's own special category......And I LOVE saying viscous fluid.....

There was a song I didn't like on the cd we were listening to so I had my son to turn it off. The 4yo comes in and says, "awe..mom, I like that song" So I tell him "well, it's a yucky song but why don't you put a different one on, like your build a bear cd"
Then he replied, "but it's scratched.......& it has 'mocos' on it ....but I took them off!" ROFLOL!!!
I don't know. It's just so funny to hear a child say the word 'mocos' and use it in a sentance so SERIOUSLY! hahahahahahaha
And I'm really wondering how they got on a CD in the first place???

Today's happy is more a "funny"...but it might just be funny to me.
Last night dh and I were watching The Peacemaker with Nicole Kidman and George Clooney (can anyone say, "super nummy?"). There is a scene where a very concerned and agitated Nicole enters like this war room, that has those clear maps all around, and a huge round table with maps on it too. She's kinda pacing in the scene, and of all the things, she's chewing gum...and I don't mean just chewing it...she's, like, chomping the heck out of it. Cows on the side of the road chew cud less than she's working that gum. For some reason, I'm thinking to myself, "What idiot producer allowed THAT in the scene for her character?" Well, lo and behold, shoot to close up of ole cud chewing Nicole, and hello? WTF happened to her gum? Guess it wasn't in the script after all (hehe). I turn to dh and say, "She was JUST chewing gum like no tomorrow...where'd her gum go." Very dryly, dh says, "She stuck it under that big ole table." I LMAO off, and even got another giggle out of it thinking about Nicole sticking her gum under a table right before I drifted off to sleep.
(hehehe) She very rarely chooses a character that would deign to chew gum (except in Practical Magic), much less stick it under a table....the mental image just makes me giggle.

Oh you know what made H & I crack up....that scene in SM2 where PP is kinda 'not nerdy' anymore (or @ least thinks he's not) & he's walkin & stuff & he's got that big ol' goofy grin & they just freeze frame right on his big ol' goofy grinnin' face! I thought that was HIlarious!
Did you ever see "The Hours" w/ NK? If you are a fan of hers...she was really, really good, it's the one where she doesn't even look like herself....she has the BIG nose.
Speaking of NK, I don't know what REALLY happened between her and TC but I have to say...since he had 'hooked up' so quickly w/ PC after NK & he broke up.........I thought it was just HIlarious that he had to go around & try to do some PR damage control w/ freakin' BRACES!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Remember that? As my H would say..."what a maroooon!" (yes, maroon NOT moron! LOL)

Here's a 'happy' tip: Everyone MUST go out & get a funky 'dingle-ball' headband. It's those headbands that have 2 springs on them w/ a pair of sparkly, glittery dingleballs or something @ the top. Sometimes you can find holiday themed ones like w/ green shamrocks or red hearts @ the top but the all occasion plain ol' sparkly dingleballs are the best! So anyway....if you just can't think of a happy thought or you are really in a FUNK------just slap a pair of hose on your head! It really works. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be frustrated w/ your kids (or your LIFE) w/ a sparkly pair of dingle balls on your head. It's just too ridiculous to remain upset----even if you want too! I've even worn mine to the grocery store (gasp!). I couldn't help but laugh to myself while people were staring! I imagined all the people thinking I am such a freakin'wierdo & I'm thinking if you only KNEW how BAD my life really is (was) you would be bawling your eyes out!!!!! LOL But hey......the kids love it because it really is IMPOSSIBLE for mom to be upset while she has dingle balls on her head. It's cheaper than therapy! It also works great to turn on your best 80's cd (new wave hits like "Vacation", "Valleygirl" {like, OMG, gag me w/ a spoon!}& "Kids of America" are our fav's) the loudest the radio will go & just dance the hell out of your bad mood. We also do this during our '10 second tidy' & it gets everyone moving joyfully! Just passin' it on! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> {vacation all I ever wanted, vacation happy to get away..... one week w/o you, thought I'd forget--2 weeks w/o you & I still haven't gotten over you yeeeeeeeet!}
