My happy for Sunday - I was outside with DS looking up at the clouds. Some rain clouds were blocking the sun, but you could see the rays shining through. My DS said that it looked like Heaven's lights. Isn't that sweet. Gotta love 'em.

My happy is that it beautiful out-90 for a high today and my whole family is healthy and I'm surrounded by people who love me and mine soon makes me smile. However, he brings tears sadness to me also.

I feel at peace today that this is truly out of my hands and what happens happens.

Um....happy, happy, happy....does same ole, same ole count as happy? I didn't do squat this weekend....not even chores (other than cooking and dishes)....I held a baby a lot....that's it! Happy is toothless grins and darling dimples.

Works for me--I was telling my H that sometimes happiness is just be content and eveything being mellow. Not that I want my life to stay the same and never change or grow but sometimes no change is good and happiness. Does that make seen? Sometimes dealing with nothing new in my life for a short period of time is utter delight-we all need breathers I think--but my H seems to want it in upheavel (sp).

Fantastic Weekend. H and I tried to act like we were in our 20's and we are both feeling the pain now. We went to two concerts this weekend, got home at 2 am on Sunday morning and at 12:30 am on Monday. It was a bit difficult getting up for work this morn. Must say that we had a blast. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Bumping it up - don't have a happy right now. Was JUST able to get online. Lemme give you a rundown of my day so far:

1. Attempted to preform a kneecapectomy while shaving in the shower this morning. Attempt failed, but the bleeding didn't stop for A LONG time!
2. On the way out the gate, I stepped with BOTH feet into fire ants - wouldn't have been so bad, but was wearing sandels today.
3. Couldn't login to the internet. While on the phone with the first tech I spoke to, I bumped my head hard on my desk in an attempt to disconnect my router from it's power....
4. Spent nearly 5 hours with various techs from SBC and my company troubleshooting and trying to fix the damn thing - remind me to NEVER ever wear a miniskirt to work again - I am not cut out to be crawling under desks anymore - maybe I was in Kindergarten, but not now!

Are we certain it's not another MONDAY today?

Anyway - since I can't think of something nice to say - except I missed your "voices" today here is something I wrote a few months ago - gives you a "vision" of what my drive in is like (as well as the farmland one I wrote last week) - I get the best scenery:

You all know that I work in Corpus, but live in Rockport, but you may not comprehend what my morning commute is like. I get to see - every morning, mind you - I get to see the sun come up over the water. I get to see rosy eight spoonbills taking wing (they are huge, pink birds - totally awesome). I see gulls - yes, they are mundane, but do you ever seen a gull in the parking lot at your work? So they aren't THAT mundane. I see pelicans fishing for their breakfasts, or flying in formation - winging their perfect sky ballet. I see sparkling, sherbert colored water (from the sunrise) lapping at the sides of the USS Lexington - every morning. And I drive over a HUGE bridge. From that bridge, every morning, I see fishermen wading in the shallows. They wade out very far, further than you'd expect to see, because you'd think that far out would be deep, very deep.

So Thursday before last, I'm driving to work and I see two fishermen out very, very far. The water was trout green - perfect, says my mother, for fishing. The weather was lovely, just a little breeze - just enough to keep you cool. I see these fishermen, and think, "This is the perfect time and day to fish. What the heck am I doing driving to work right now...what the heck am I doing???" Then, two words came over me - an epiphany bursting through - I'm lucky I didn't drive over the side of the bridge, it was so clear! What two little words could make me understand my situation and why I do what I do??? Two words that peal out so clear and true, as if handed down from the throne of God???

"BAIT MONEY!"

well today is not such a good day, but I am grateful htat the Lord woke me up this morning. I love looking at my two little one's in the morning. They just smile and give me kisses and they kiss each other on the forehead and say ummm -umm my love sooooo much. It is the cutest thing ever.

I teach them to love one another and everything in hope that they too will receive love. Love is the one thing that we should give freely. Then I realize that we do not give it freely and unconditionally. A lesson that I have yet to learn, and my H has not either.

I wish that we could be like the kids and live in the moment.

Today is a good day--it is warm and sunny with blue sky-YAH!

I'm at work so their is a little something wrong with the whole picture but that is okay.

MY H is still coming home to our house after work not ging to apt.--only went there for one night.

IT is so great to have him at home still that in itself brings me a sense of peace, joy and contentness.

Haven't seen AD around much and KT you have been lying low girl. COme on you guys we need more happy thoughts and funny things besides Niosgirl and her pop rocks.

KT gotta tell you I have on light purple toe polish and I want to do a pedicure soon.

Here's my dear moment: My 4 year old asked me to marry him. When I told him that I was already married to daddy, he frowned, then brightened and said that was okay, he'd marry grandma.

ok I will camp(outdoors, I could hang w/ Outback Jack), I will boogie board, swim in the ocean (tar or not), I will climb rocks to see tide pools, I will hike, I will even squish bugs if I have too but all I can say to fish & fishing is........EWWEE double EWE!

My H is on a 'fishing' kick right now! EWE!!! are you people crazy? You have to actually cut the thing, scrape off SCALES and all this is after you hook the dang thing by it's mouth. Dont' get me wrong......I am NOT a peta person or anything like that but come one.......just give me the food. I don't need to know or see it getting to my plate.

I do not like to eat fish either. They belong in the little bowl on the counter or the tank. And they stink! yuck!

Seafood period is freaky to me. If it bounces when you try to chew it------hello???? (H loves calamari) boing boing boing! I'm getting the heebie jeebies just thinking about it.

This IS my happy thought! I lOVE my H & am glad he likes fish becuase since he knows I don't & can't stand the smell of it so he doesn't make me cook it-he bar-b-q's it outside---which means I don't have to cook @ all that night!

I was trying to be sneaky so dd (2yo) wouldn't see me & ask for her own nails to be done! TOO late! LOL

She found me out so she has blue fingers that match my toes! But I don't mind too much. A real LADY does not leave the house w/ chipped nail polish---EVER! LOL Gotta start teaching them young.

Had a good night last night: Woke up with a smile on my face. H and I had a good evening. kids were great adn just thankful for all of that.

Last night dd, 2yo, goes in her bed to hear daddy's nightly stories. He tucks them all in & then when the story is over she jsut comes back to our bed like nothing. Just routine for her.LOL

But she was so adorable...how could I resist? She takes my face in her hands whispers goodnight & kisses my nose. Then H comes to bed & she wraps one arm under his neck & one under mine, & she's in the middle & she's just kissing us back & forth.

Finally I say go to sleep or go in your own bed & she just laughs & says no, & hurries & closes her eyes.
