Has anyone wasted 80 minutes of their life & seen this movie?

If not, DON'T. IT is soooo dumb. It won something @ the Cannes Film Festival but maybe the secret is what is won? MOST BORING & STUPID film ever!

It's supposed to be about some highschool kids, HORRIBLE acting for one & then.......can you say Columbine? There is NO point to the movie, I swear!

So don't waste your time or you $3.79 +tx @ blockbuster!

No, but I just wasted 80+ minutes troubleshooting this damn computer!!! It was giving me fits, doing all sorts of whacked out stuff.

Thanks for the heads up on the movie though. I get frustated when I spend time, and worse...time AND money on a flop.

Another one to AVOID..I've mentioned before.

House of Sand & Fog. It has Jennifer Connely & that really good actor who played Ghandi....oh Ben Kingsley. So the acting is terrific but the story is sooooooo depressing & there is infidelity & the reactions are so real.

Nothing that most of us need to be reminded of. It is too realistic..NO happy ending.

So unless you really WANT to cry your eyes out.....do NOT see this movie either!

In America....I think that was the title, about the Irish family that comes to America. THAT is an excellent movie. It has the woman who played the pre-cog in Minority report. THIS movie is definately worth seeing. The acting is very good & realistic. I LOVED it. Thumbs up from me!

Another good one....& good for kids or @ least "big" kids. Rated PG

Secondhand Lions..........so cute, a real boys/manly movie. Positive male role models. Fun adventure.

Do you think I watch too many movies? LOL Mostly when I go to my parents (netflix).

ALSO, a GREAT website to give you any & all pertinent info you would want to know about a movie's content can be found @ www.screenit.com. I HIGHLY recommend this site, it gives you major details on content. Like specefic uses of foul language, nudity, 'jump scenes', immitative behavior ect. Great resource for parents & for us discerning adults.

Dorkas magorkas - where was that link b4 I watched Austin Powers and the freaky chemo cat?????

LMAO!

Loved 2ndhand Lions. Haley Joe Osmet is def. coming into his own. Hope he doesn't turn out freakish like what's-his-face, the kid from all the Home Alone flicks.

Have you seen Underworld? LOVED IT! So not for kids - gotta watch it after they go to bed....excellent brain candy imo!
