What a day!!
Started out with bringing Oc to school for the frist time. He threw a fit. Oc was going to this school already. Once in he wanted me to stay with him. When I picked him up from school he was mad at me cause I didn't stay with him.
I told him he was going to be able to see his mother today. He wanted me to stay with him during the visit. I told him that I would be back to pick him up. When I went back to pick him up, he was fine at first, then on the way out to the car he ran back into the childrens center trying to get back to his mother. I had to carry him out of the place crying. He really wanted to be with his mother.
It's so hard to see hom going through this. Breaks my heart.

Crazymum, just keep doing what you're doing. He's young, and kids are more resilient than we give them credit for. Keep being there for him and providing stability for him and that will win out in the end, and hopefully he'll be fine. Has anyone suggested counseling for him?

I asked Cps if we should get him in to therapy, she said they would tell me next week.
I made Oc smile ear to ear tonight. I dug through my old pics and found one of him when he was 9 moths old with his mother. I'm going to see if next visit I can send a camera and someone will get a pic of the two together so he can have it with him. I was also thining of getting a pic of him holding a sign saying " I love you mommy" and having him give to his mother.
Even though she hates me and I don't think to highly of her, she is still his mother. I could never even think of replacing her.

Crazymum..........hang on..........your doing all the right things, it's just a tough road. I am so sorry this little boy (and his siblings) are going through this. I just can't imagine it for the life of me. You've got your hands full, but you know what it's going to be OK sooner or later. I sure hope these kids lives get easier. Does he get to see his siblings?

Good job crazymum-----
You are doing a good job. I think we think alike becuase I would do the same things for OC & her mom as well. OW still was insecure that i was trying to take her place but anyone who knows me---knows that is NOT me or how I work.
Regardless of how it is received-I think you are doing the right thing & you have some good ideas. Keep up w/ it & remember NOT to expect any thanks on either end. Just real life, dear.
Hang in there. I hope it gets easier for all of you. You're doing the right thing.
