I was nineteen weeks and 4 days when we found out. I was PRAYING for a girl because OW was having a boy but the moment I saw him on that screen, it didn't matter if he was missing a hand, a foot, a leg, that was my little man on the screen doing somersaults and showing us his PERFECT little face!
I'm sure you are excited! I felt him kick in the 18th week so it was a little while. I'm not sure if you have felt yours kick but I can tell you, that when I felt him kick for the first time, it scared me. It makes you realize there is actually a little person inside me!!!!

Hurt, your update just melted my heart!

I felt all warm and fuzzy for the way you felt about OC!

I feel this turned out to be a joyous day for you.

Just think, OC and your baby will be so close in age and that will be so much fun watching the two of them play and hopefully grow up together! The kids will LOVE being playmates. Heck, as they grow a bit- having 2 to entertaine one another is MUCH easier!

I think God showed you today that a rotten day can truly become a blessed one-- that this is going to turn around and OC can enhance your new family if you will stay calm, love H, and keeping your heart open to little oc as you did today!

God is good!

One more important thing, is that I do belive it was a TINY step in the right direction that ow had the decencty to at least acknowledge you and be coureous and try to thank you.

Take that as another little blessing today- you didnt have to be ready to speak w/her- but it IS her duty and obligation to SEEK you out a bit with some EXTRA kindness. You'd think these OW would realize how much they had a hand in hurting another woman - and that is so unfair and low. The OW should come to her senses and at least try to show some character and not cause any trouble-- in fact even try to be extremely amicable w/W. SHE did this, W didnt, ya know!

Anywhoooo- once again-- I am so glad this first HARD step is OVAH for you girl!! Today was a good day for Hurt's HOME TEAM! Woo hoo!

OW doesn't know I'm pregnant yet. As for everything, I did fall for that little one but I know it will still be hard. But seeing him now, makes me realize that NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES, it doesn't matter. I know that as time goes on, it will get easier! But the first step is over and went quite well.

my H thinks that if he tells Ow I'm pregnant, she won't let us see him. I wanted him to tell her today but he won't. She will find out sooner or later because EVERYONE at work knows so when she goes back, someone will tell her....But trust me, my burns have yet to heal at all....they are still VERY exposed

Hurt, My XOW doesn't know about the pregnancy either. She'll be able to tell soon, because I'm starting to show. I asked H not to mention it to her, because I was worried it might make her antics worse. I wanted to get through my first trimester. I'm curious how she'll react.

yeah if the OW saw me she would put two and two together. I really started to show this week! I didn't want her to know but now for some reason I want him to tell her!!!! Why? Well my H told her that we have EVERYTHING FOR A baby and I want her to know he meant for OUR BABY....

I can understand that. I made a comment one time telling XOW we had a crib. The crib was intended for our child, but XOW assumed it was meant for hers. OC could have slept in it, but XOW never let us have her overnight. I really don't care what she thinks though.

She will know soon enough.

I'm glad things went well & you do have such a big heart to haev room for another one.

BUt let's back up here a bit shall we........

DNA? Paternity? Legal visitation & custody issues obtained via court order?

Hunnybunny, I am not playing when I tell you that this NEEDS to be done. It will sve you ALOT of heartache & stress in the future if you get this done properly. NO side deals, no verbal commitments, nO handshakes, black & white, signed by a judge COURT ORDERS are a MUST!

WE learned the HARD way & NOW are in NC! PLEASE! PLEASE listen to this. BEG yoru H if you have too. I don't care WHO baby looks like, what IF you established visitation & get all attached---and then when OW sues for CS, becuase she WILL, DNA is done & it is NOT H. IT HAS BEEN KNOWN TO HAPPEN!

YOu MUST protect yourselves, emotionally as well as financially.

I can't stress teh importance of this enough.

I don't want to put MORE pressure on you, and actually it's something only your H can do. (filing for paternity ect.) I am only tryont to help protect you from further stress. I was a basket case just waiting for the CS hearing to come around & being pg @ the same time.

So I can relate to that whole concern part of it.

PLEASE also remember-----it's OKAY if you don't WANT to have C w/ OC. Please evaluate yoru feelings/needs/wants honestly. IF you do then great but you can't do it becuase you feel rpessured or you are scared to be alone. H can't force this on you.

ALso, do you ahve a support network for yourself IRL? Family that you can turn to & confide in? People that you can TRUST?

Was it fun for you to shop for OC? I still have to hold myself back from buying out the entire little girls department for OC even though we don't actually see her anymore. I would keep that stuff IN yoru own home.........OW must have SOMETHING for OC to wear.....otherwise he would have been naked! Maybe she was trying to 'test' H to see what he woudl do (care?) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> .

Take care hunny bunny. Keep the faith. You are doing a great job & as much as I hated to hear this myself-----you really are handling this very well. Cut yourself some slack too. If I was there I'd run right over to pamper your pg feet & give you a pedicure myself--I'm pretty good @ creating flowers & sometimes butterflies on those toesys......get them done while you can still SEE them LOL....before they turn to little piggies! LOL (& you too Wife30)

KT,

Trust me, I agree with EVERYTHING YOU are saying in regards to the legal stuff. He just sees no need for it right now because he thinks she won't turn into a she-devil. *sigh* It will be one of those, I told you so situations in about 5-12 months.
Thank you for your support. I already have a hard time tying my shoes. It SUCKS!!
Shopping for the OC was alright. It bothered me a bit but I bought that stuff for him to take over there because she says she doesn't have much at all. *sigh* I just thought that I would try to be nice and make sure OC has what he needs. I think it was a ploy just to see what we would do. But she knows I bought that stuff, not H.
We will see how things go from here. Its the beginning of a whole new chapter. Lets just hope it goes smoothly although I think that is a high doubtful statement.
