Ok, I think we have GOT to get LIVES! LOL

Or maybe it is a good sign when we can have a pretty fair & open debate & there's not too much editting going on. (pretty good for what? 8-9 pages?)

@ least we are able to spend a good portion of a day in some stimulating posting rather than venting/dealing w/ real life icky OW/BW/OW/MM situations right?

I guess that's a good sign?

.....where's my crochet?...

I love debate.

But I think I've spent way too much time on the computer today. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

I think this kind of dialog is great for newbies to read. I think it clearly shows the line in the sand and shows the polarized views. It is not harmfull at all. Even when we take pokes at each other! I know that NTMO is a more mature, level headed ow type then others. She is not a ranting raving emotional mess. What any bw says or feels isn't going to melt her into a puddle of pity. I also am not a ranting raving emotional mess. I can't be hurt here, I have lived and heard it all already!! We certainly disagree, on alot of things. But that is were this dialog is so important for newbies. They can really see all sides, all situations, etc and learn. They can learn what to expect, and they are also learning what thier beliefs are.

Good grief, when we (BW) first learn of oc's one really doesn't have a clue as to what to think or what to feel. How many times do people start to do what they think is "right" only to learn that it is not right for them? The only way to make huge life decisions is by learning all you can about the situation and then think it out. THIS type of dialog helps foster that. Knowledge is afterall, power.

It was not a "bad word" my any means <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> ... because that word is usually associated with a bouncy air-filled rubber globe ... known to be used by children and athletes.

Perhaps the singular form ball is acceptable, whereas the plural form (you-know-what (s)) is unacceptable <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Only JustUss possesses the wisdom to determine if one "s" makes a word unacceptable <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Pep ( a gal with no you-know-what (s)) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Hey wait a minute-- my STUPID a** brought crap from THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRACKS.. KT even pulled me by my ear and grounded me!!!

WOW it SURE was productive, though, cause Lynn and CLO are BEST FRIENDS NOW! HAHAHAHAHA
(hey Justuss.. we need one of those laughing guy icons so bad!!)..

YES, YES... I love to debate also. I think there is a good healthy outcome, many times, from debate.

When you debate with others- you MAY actually gain a little understanding and tollerance for others, and Lord knows-- we need to have tollerance in some ways to survive this world! I also find myself digging deeper into ME and finding out REALLY how I feel when I am challenged in certain ways.
