Nio's going to get the babies to stay with us this weekend and on till Thursday.

I've got to go to the grocery. Nio's certain that mija probably has bugs again. Poor kid. I think I'll buy her a book to look at while I'm combing through her hair. She LOVES books (kid after my own heart, I tell ya!). Is it wrong of me to think the babies would be better off with me as their direct mom........

ARGH!

I really do wish they were with us all the time.

Not wrong at all. From all indications, you ARE a better mom for them.

What the heck goes on in her household that they constantly have lice? Social services ever been called?

Enjoy your time with them. That's so great she loves books. My little guy does too, and I couldn't be more pleased! I keep a couple little ones in his crib, and he looks through them before falling asleep, and when we get him up in the morning, he always has one in hand, (the other hand is always holding a spare paci~~lol)

I'm just mad as a wet cat at OW. How could she let those things just chew on her (MY) kids?

(massive shudders)

Hey girlie,

No, it is not wrong of you to think that way. It is the truth isn't it? I am glad that they have a loving mother like you to be a positive role model for them. The lice thing is getting a bit much - don't ya think?

What in the world is going on in her home? Does she do anything to prevent the poor babies from it?

Keep lovin' those babies and you will be rewarded for all the love you have given to others.

love ya,

JT

I agree the lice thing is disgusting, I think it's pathetic some of us take better care of our dogs than some people take of their children. My dogs rarely have fleas because I treat them if I see any! However, I am a teacher, and I deal w/ this all the time! CPS does not consider this to be neglect. They've told us that several times.

Speaking from no experience here... I always thought lice were white. They're dark, kimmy? Is it just the eggs that are white?

Sorry to be gross <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> , but I am curious.

Yes, the bugs are gray/black and the eggs are white.

Okay, how did the 'plan' go from NC w/ the babes to C again........????

Just wondering , after all the 'fog' <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> Nio got into these past few months,....just wondering what's the deal now & how did you decide to start it back up again.

How does he know they have lice again? Did OW tell him?

Well the babes went home today. (sigh) It's getting harder and harder to let them go. Mija is telling us she wants to live, "here with mommy and daddy and bubby and sissy..." Mijo is pulling up now and crawling everywhere.

I cried last night after we put them to bed. I love them so much.

KT - We just can't do NC. We just can't. We miss them so much when they aren't with us. We lasted about a month...but it was a month of growing and learning for Nio and I, so it was a month with NC that we needed....I really think it's what jump started US again. Now we both have a clear view as to what direction we want to lead our family in.

Of course, mija had bugs. ICK! Poor baby.

Just got off the phone with Nio...he's turned in the paperwork for Park Police in SAT. He really wants this job, so send up flare prayers. Course it'll mean moving back and I hate moving, but it'd really be best for us all.

That's my update. I'm beat today...I can't wait to move so mijo can have his own room when he visits. Right now the portacrib is in our room, and every time the kid sighs I'm up to make sure he's covered...lol! Mommy hearing and all that.

- Kimmy
