For under $10 go to your local "coffee" shop. Find a table near the back or 'out of the way' and sit and talk for an hour.
It might be fun to arrange to 'meet' there as if you were asking your spouse out for a 'coffee date' - both arriving separately. Also can agree to 'pretend' you just met and ask questions that you might if you had just started going out or it was your first date. (So what's your all time favorite movie? Your idea of the perfect quick 3-4 day vacation? etc.).

WE do this often now. We like to go to the local starbucks, get our coffee and sit on the comfy couches and just talk. it costs $4.82 and we get 1 hour of real, good, time together.
